On Monday evenings at 6:00 PM from early Spring into the Fall,  whether you are young, not so young, fast, or not so fast, you can find an appropriate riding group leaving the Velodrome. LWA ride leaders plan and guide these tours, which are posted on the LWA Meetup calendar (often with gps routes and/or cue sheets).

"C" and "D" rides have distances between 20 and 30 miles, and average from 10 mph in hillier terrain to 14 mph in flatter areas. The more challenging "B" and "A" rides can be over 40 miles long.   "A" riders might average close to 20 mph.  More information can be found in our Guide to Ride Ratings.

If you are not currently a LWA member*, you are still welcome to join these rides; you will enjoy the same insurance coverage as members on your first ride with the club.  Of course, we hope that you will decide to join the Wheelmen, after which you will also enjoy the numerous benefits of club membership (insurance coverage, premium "RideWithGPS" group membership, etc.). You can join on-line, or during the "Grill ‘n Chill" which is held once a month from April through September after the Monday night rides.

*  Note:  Being a member of the LWA Meetup does not make you a member of the club.
