Tom Kellogg of Spectrum Cycles was our guest speaker
At our LWA October Monthly meeting, Tom Kellogg of Spectrum Cycles was our guest speaker.
Tom recently retired from his long career as a custom bike frame maker, and he presented several topics including:
- His background and how he got started in frame building
- Benefits of a custom bike frame
- The pros and cons of different types of frame material: Titanium, steel, aluminum, carbon
- His thoughts on drivetrains and other components
Although Tom is retired, he still maintains his website: Spectrum Cycles | The Perfect Bike Does Not Exist Until We Build it for You. (spectrum-cycles.com), which has some interesting and helpful information on bikes and cycling.
We thank Tom for his very interesting presentation, and we have invited him to our Holiday Party as a guest of LWA.
