Challenging climbs, occasional gravel roads and an assurance that you'll be on roads you've never ridden before...these are the norm for this ride! Yellow-line riders and half-wheelers stay home please. "A" rides are not deemed so only by virtue of their pace and difficulty, but by the experience, safety and predictability of the participants. With the exception of climbs and special circumstances, we ride a tight 2-up formation.
PLEASE HONESTLY ASSESS YOUR ABILITY. Regrouping at the tops of climbs, and stopping due to a mechanical or a flat is common courtesy; waiting for dropped riders on the flats and rollers will typically not be done.
An amicable bunch of knuckleheads, this is always a fun ride:) This ride always starts and ends at the Velo, and will cancel by 4:00pm if weather requires it.
